The Black Lady

The Black Lady claims to be the The King of Fools' concubine and takes pride in the title despite how other devils look down on her and the rest of the cavalcade for it. She adores the 'silly' archdevil to no end and works tirelessly to ensure that the devils beneath him show the properly courtly respect that her lord is due... if he is around. Otherwise, she focuses more on vicious gossip, violent fetes, and malicious matchmaking. Pitch black in skin with burning red eyes, the Black Lady's legs end in smolding pig hooves while long, curled horns poke from her ebony coiffure. She wears a variety of overy fancy dresses that are always stripped, monochrome, and risque. One accessory she is never without is an enchanted fan made from burnt angel feathers. This fan is as sharp as any demon's claws and will always return to her hand. The Black Lady Medium Fiend (devil), lawful evil Armor Class 22 (natural armor) Hit Points...

Knave of Knights

Bound to the Cavalcade of the King of Fools , this fallen angels wears a mockup of platemail armor crafted from bright pressed velvet and knitted wool but his weapons are nevertheless quite real. Said weapons are a whip crafted from liars's tongues and a lance of hell iron he wields as if it was made from driftwood. The stub of burnt wings jut from his back with multi-colored streamers dangling from the charred bones. The Knave of Knights fell in with the Cavalcade when he vowed to defend a rightful king's right to rule, only to find out that the sire he fell in with was a bastard usurper who had successfully taken his brother's place. Cursed and broken mentally by the deception, he was easily felled by the King of Fools and given a new place at the archdevil's side serving as his jester and favored knight all wrapped into one. Lamp Geist

Cursed by the Thirst Slacker , a lamp geist is bound to a physical oil lamp in the material world. Thus it can never return to the hells and must forever play its role. This is to steer victims toward the Thirst Slacker and his evil allies while pretending to be a summond and controled entity within the lamp. It doesn't mind this last role too much, though, as it delights in leading its 'master' astray from the morale path while providing them arcane might. If it grows bored or the 'master' is intractable, the lamp geist will simply kill them. While it is completely solid, the fiend appears as a wispy, humanoid shape of a faint blue, branded with magical sigils and wearing a crown that hides its stubby horns. It is quick to smile, but never full enough to reveal its sharp teeth. Lamp Geist Medium fiend, chaotic evil Armor Class 15 (natural armor) 91 (14d8 + 28) Speed 40 ft Str 13 ...

Quencher

These fiends are the Thirst Slacker's favorite minions, serving as his commanders, honor guard and lovers. In turn, the quenchers universally loathe him. These horned demons are lovely in form, male or female, and dress in once-white silks spatted with the blood stains of countless victims. Why? Because quenchers exist to quench their bloodlust. They love to kill and they always hunger for more blood. Their relentless presence both spurs and damages their allies. Their weapons, polearms, are constructed from steel-hard cartilige and riddled with veins eager to suck blood from the wounds they open. This is why they loath the Thirst Slacker. His commands and needs taken them away from their simple blood hunger and they find his manipulations tiresome. Yet, they are bound to serve him. Grim Shepherd

A blue-skinned fiend with the head of an Ibex, the grim shepherd wears a swirling tan robe seared at the edges and carriers a crook fashioned from dusty bones. Its eyes glow a deep yellow and the same color cascades through its rigged horns. Serving the Thirst Slacker , these fiends herd the undead and lesser fiends indebted to the master of wishes. On top of that, they can force enemies to move as well by exerting skill, strenght, and their sinister magic. Anyone fighter knows that positioning is just as important as skill and to be out of it is to be slain. Grim Shepherd Medium fiend, chaotic evil Armor Class 15 (natural armor) 127 (17d8 + 51) Speed 40 ft climb 20 ft Str 15 Dex 10 Con 16 Int 11 Wis 14 Cha 15 Skills Perception +5, Stealth +3 Damage Resistances bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing from nonmagical attacks that aren't silvered Damage Immunities cold, fire Senses d...

Mockingcur

Mockingcurs serve as the hunting hounds, jesters, and scapegoats for the wish granting fiend know as Thirst Slacker Their general bodyshape reminds one of a hyena, though they are nearly hairless save a ridge of coarse fur down their head and spine. A pair of white wings, singed to black along the inside sprouts from their back. Long, blistered tongues loll from fang-filled mouths. The mockingcurs adore pain - both the emotional pain they inflict on others and physical pain inflicted on them. The former comes from a supernatural ability to drive victims to blundering distraction with barbed taunts The latter drives mockingcurs into an ecastatic state, making them even more dangerous to fight. Mockingcur Large fiend, chaotic evil Armor Class 16 (natural armor) 51 (6d10 + 18) Speed 30 ft Fly 40 ft (hover) Str 15 Dex 16 Con 17 Int 7 Wis 8 Cha 12 Damage Resistances cold, fire Se...

Heart Binder

Caught between demon and book, the Heart Binder floats along filled with page after page of harmful lore. Lore it is willing to share with both the curuious and unwary to better spread the influence of its creator, the fiendish Thirst Slacker Those who accept its dark counsel gain additional arcane or even divine power in exchange for lifeforce - either their own or others. The Heart Binder's pages are insidous enough they can entice the weak-willed. Sometimes the vile codex crushes the hearts of these poor souls just for fun. Crawling Desire

Lowly servants of the fiendish Thirst Slacker crawling desires prey on mortals who feel slighted by and left out of society. Their form is somewhere between a dward-sized centipede and elvish beauty with long, crimson hair. Their honeyed words inspire the resentful to violence, and their bites can do the same to even the most rightous of souls. When interacting with unsuspecting, a crawling desire will animate a dressed-up and veiled skeleton, curl around its spine, and ride the creature about in a grisly disguise. Some even go as far as to decapitate said skeleltons first and stick their heads in their place Crawling Desire Medium fiend, chaotic evil Armor Class 13 (natural armor) 19 (3d8 + 6) Speed 30 ft Climb 30 ft Str 8 Dex 14 Con 14 Int 8 Wis 6 Cha 12 Skills Deception +3, Persuasion +3, Stealth +4 Damage Resistances cold, fire Senses darkvision 60 ft., passive Perception ...

Sable Billy

A polycerate goat with four horns in appearance, this fiend enjoys pretending to be a simple member of a herd while breaking down the shepherds who tend to it until their corrupted souls are ready to feast on. His dark, becoming coat is sought after for soft wool without those who wear it ever knowing they carry a piece of the Abyss with them. While Sable Billy proves capable in any fight, he prefers to make others bloody their hands. Those he cannot drive to murderous rage, he bewitches into. When push comes to shove, though, he can breathe out the very flames of hell and loves the taste of roasted humanoids as other sheep adore grass. Twister Fiend

Stradling the line between demon and elemental, the twister fiend's lower half is a serpentine curl of grit and wind. This odd physiology is solid enough to feel like flesh but intangible enough to be spun to breakneck speed. Its top half is distended and skeletal, resembling a serpent with spindly, three-fingered claws. Behind its head spreads an 'aura' of glass scars upon which one can glimpse the screaming reflections of its most recent victims. Formed directly from the Demon Winds, the twister fiend can only physically exist where the winds spread and are always a manifestation of that plane. When banished back to Hell, it disperses and becomes one with the wind once more. No twister fiend wants this and thus will go to great lengths to survive in a material plane as long as possible, even if it means binding itself to a humanoid master. Noose Fiend

Bearing an eyeless executioner's hood that doesn't quite fit its head, the noose fiend's grim, lipless smile full of fangs is the last thing many a hero sees as the light goes dark. The fiend's flesh is rubbery, white, and stretched thin across a gangly frame. A noose hangs like a bolo about its neck with dozens more crisscrossing its body forming a tight cuirass, bracers, and shinguards of greasy rope. A handful of loose loops always hang ready to catch necks. There is nothing the noose fiend hates more than sinners, and in its covered eyes, every mortal is a sinner true. It finds a sturdy orchard to corrupt, make its lair, and string up as many sinful victims as it can muster. The worst part is, some of its victims don't stay dead. Instead, they animate as swaying carcasses eager to feed stolen breath to their infernal hangman. Noose Fiend Medium fiend, neutral evil Armor Class 18 (natural armor) Hit Points ...

Six-Shooter

A beautiful woman with the lower half of a diamond-back rattlesnake, the six-shooter always brings a quick smile and a quicker draw to sun-backed scrublands. They keep their hair wild and long beneath battered cowboy hats and often wear embroidered waistcoats, crisscrossed gunbelts studded with jewels, and dusty ponchos of complex designs. Most humanoids find them beguiling creatures despite their plainly demonic nature... and six arms. It's easy to assume a relation between the marilith's of the Abyss and the sidewinders that ride the Demon Wind. Both fiends violently dismiss this notion. While mariliths are domineering leaders of demon armies, six-shooters are independent creatures that value their freedom above all else. They travel to the mortal realms on the Demon Wind not to gather souls but to seek the best gunfighters for a challenge. This almost always ends with the six-shooter adding the slain mortal's sidearm to her trophy collection. While the six-shooter ri...

The Vizier

One might assume that the Vizier is the sidekick to the main villain of a story rather than the true, infernal puppetmaster and that is just how the fiend likes it. The Vizier appears as an exotic and unique bird covered with vibrant orange and blue plumage. Its long neck is reminiscent of a crane while its beak is a short, hooked affair specked with golden flecks that glint in the sun. Its talons, however, are as black as night to the point where they appeared charred and muted to the rest of its body. That is, until, the Vizier reveals its turn nature. Between its features a multitude of weeping, vestigial eyes manifest. Within its mouth resides a human tongue capable of articulate, hateful speech. Its claws leave long stretches of the Abyss itself in the wounds left behind, robbing its victims of natural health. The Vizier loves to be in control but hates to be the figurehead. Too many times it’s seen its kin dominate an area only to be felled by the first adventurer or assassin ...

Crank Fiend

A towering, humanoid hulk of sunburned flesh and rusting metal, this fiend is ready to burst at the seams. Barbed wire barely holds together its riven chest, with an unfathomable amount of ammunition rattling within. How the bullet stores which replaced the infernal’s organs are fed into clusters of spinning barrels it sports instead of forearms. The war beast’s lower half is girded in ragged denim and bolted-on metal boots to stabilize the fiend as it lets loose volley after volley. Bullet Addict. No one can rightly say if the crank fiends existed in whatever pocket of Hell the Demon Winds stem from, or if they came to be as the foul torrent ripped across the Material Plane. The answer doesn’t matter much in the face of reality. Crank fiends lumber wherever the Demon Winds blow, not to torture mortals nor to spread abyssal influence. Instead, the giants seek more bullets to swallow and add to their stores. It doesn’t matter the caliber or even the viability of the ammo. All a cra...

Duster Devil

A gleaming grin beneath the battered, hat brim. The fluttering of a ragged, human-leather coat. The glint of hell-iron buttons. A pair of smoldering revolvers. The fiend’s mein strikes fear in all but the most stalwart of hearts. Even those stout souls falter when the duster billows open, revealing an abyss of swirling sand and demonic screams. And then, the infernal’s devil kin come spilling out… Living Portal. The duster devil was once a gateway to Hell, in fact it still is. The only difference is the demonic energies flowing through space awakened a twisted sentience. From there, the duster devil reshaped itself to something vaguely humanoid and adopted a distinctive style. Armed with a pair of peacebreaker pistols, the infernal now wanders wherever the Demon Winds blow, disgorging hellish hordes while it searches for other ‘sleeping’ portals to awaken. Parched Fiend

Leathery, sun-baked skin clings to the fiend’s pittled bones, tearing like dry parchment with a puff of sand as the creature moves. Inexplicably, old wounds heal as new ones open, creating a sanity-grating sound from the horror. The parched fiend’s body is humanoid, its legs ending in split-hooves. Its chapped lips are torn in a perpetual sneer, and sunken sockets are empty save a red pinpoint. The infernal carries a whip just as desiccated with itself that is covered in jagged salt crystals. Whenever in flight, the fiend manifests wings comprised of salt and sand. Shepherds of the Damned. Mortals who succumb to the Demon Winds do not pass on to their just reward, but instead remain caught in its sinister flow. These spirits are stretched thin and crave the warmth they had in life. Most tatter away into nothing more than mournful sighs and pained screams. Some become undead horrors, and it is these specters that the parched fiend takes command over. It harvests their agony for othe...

Grit Fiend

Born into a body of dirt and sand-scoured bones, the grit fiend is an unholy blend of beast and human. Its lower half is covered with desiccated brush mimicking shaggy for with split hooves for feet. The fiend’s torso is whip thin, its wiry arms end in spindly claws. Its head is that of a disfigured goat with a cleft palate perpetually sneering and antlers sprawling from its temples instead of goat horns. Blood Drinker. Manifested by the Demon Wind as it whistles through the Fractured plane, the grit fiend gorges on mortal blood whenever the chance arises. The infernal not only guzzles freshly spilled blood and laps at it as a cat might, but every sandy mote of its being absorbs it. The fiend’s ideal state is stained from crown to sole in wet crimson, which doesn’t stay moist for long. Much like water atop desert sand, the blood disappears quickly leaving the grit fiend in an ever-present state of thirst. Grit Fiend Medium fiend, neutral evil ...

Thirst Slaker

Blue-skinned and robbed in solid shadows which give a vague impression of a sheik’s robes, this fiend is always quick to smile or sneer depending on the current level of contempt for its ‘master’. However, malice always twinkles in its compound eyes, especially whenever it twists the wishes asked of it. Asymmetrical horns curl from the Thirst Slacker’s forehead. Its legs end with a fly’s feet. Lastly, it sheaths a charred scimitar on a belt made from a chain of coins stolen from the eye sockets of the dead. The weapon is rarely drawn and never used. Instead, holes in the feind's hands contain red-shelled centipedes eager to strike. Avarice Peddler. While the Thirst Slacker presents itself as some sort of djinn, its origins lay in the deep bowels of hell. It often appears with a cup of cool water or fine wine in hand, ready to offer it out to the current holder of the ‘ancient’ skull which summoned it. From there, it explains that it is here to quench its master’s thirsts. ...
