Stunted creatures, jingle mimics barely moved beyond the polyp stage in size and mentality. This may have been from a deep freeze or perhaps some whiff of strange magic. They are joyous creatures, inspired by the bells of a winter festival. Often they will ring just to hear the sound. Yet, they still hunger and take down prey in bounce, tinkling packs.

Shapechanger.
The mimic can use its action to polymorph into a jingle bell or back into its true, amorphous form. Its statistics are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.
Adhesive (Object Form Only).
The mimic adheres to anything that touches it. A Medium or smaller creature adhered to the mimic is also grappled by it (escape DC 12). Ability checks made to escape this grapple have disadvantage.
False Appearance (Object Form Only).
While the mimic remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from an ordinary sleigh.
Grappler.
The mimic has advantage on attack rolls against any creature grappled by it.
Pounce.
If the mimic moves at least 15 ft. straight toward a target and then hits it with a pseudopod attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 2 (1d4) damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 12 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Actions
Pseudopod.
Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) bludgeoning damage. If the mimic is in object form, the target is subjected to its Adhesive trait.
Bite.
Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) piercing damage plus 3 (1d6) acid damage.
Jingle All the Way.
The mimic produces a phantom sound of jingle bells ringing or bouncing at a space it can see within 30ft. An Intelligence(Investigation) test DC 12 is required to realize that the sound is false and has no origin.
