Swarm of Bilge Barnacles

Scuttering along one spindly legs, these crustaceans are covered with a white shells covered in a series of spherical clusters and spines. The middle of its shell contains a mandibled mouth ringed by tiny eyes, while the underside of its ‘head’ envelopes a leech-like mouth. Once they latch onto a creature, the shells slice up the flesh while the legs dig in deep. The clusters make it hard to dislodge the creatures, even more so as they convert a victim’s bones into additional shell.

Bloodborne Parasite. These foul beasts began as normal barnacles along a boat hull as the vessel sailed, and then sank in a noisome swamp. Instead of shriveling up and dying, these crustaceans adapted to survive. FIrst they latched onto lesser undead and drained their juices before being discovered by the Fiend of the Moors. The cursed ranger proceeded to breed and refine the profane creatures, gifting them with a thirst for blood only outdone by actual vampires. Like the other corrupted beasts in the Fiend’s domain, these swarms of bilge barnacles hunt the living and heed the risen elf’s call. Those that escape the feeding frenzy often succumb to the blood-born diseases that the barnacles carry.

Knave of Knights

Bound to the Cavalcade of the King of Fools , this fallen angels wears a mockup of platemail armor crafted from bright pressed velvet and knitted wool but his weapons are nevertheless quite real. Said weapons are a whip crafted from liars's tongues and a lance of hell iron he wields as if it was made from driftwood. The stub of burnt wings jut from his back with multi-colored streamers dangling from the charred bones. The Knave of Knights fell in with the Cavalcade when he vowed to defend a rightful king's right to rule, only to find out that the sire he fell in with was a bastard usurper who had successfully taken his brother's place. Cursed and broken mentally by the deception, he was easily felled by the King of Fools and given a new place at the archdevil's side serving as his jester and favored knight all wrapped into one. The Black Lady

The Black Lady claims to be the The King of Fools' concubine and takes pride in the title despite how other devils look down on her and the rest of the cavalcade for it. She adores the 'silly' archdevil to no end and works tirelessly to ensure that the devils beneath him show the properly courtly respect that her lord is due... if he is around. Otherwise, she focuses more on vicious gossip, violent fetes, and malicious matchmaking. Pitch black in skin with burning red eyes, the Black Lady's legs end in smolding pig hooves while long, curled horns poke from her ebony coiffure. She wears a variety of overy fancy dresses that are always stripped, monochrome, and risque. One accessory she is never without is an enchanted fan made from burnt angel feathers. This fan is as sharp as any demon's claws and will always return to her hand. The Black Lady Medium Fiend (devil), lawful evil Armor Class 22 (natural armor) Hit Points...

Yoke Mimic

Something tore apart the bandits you've been tracking, but it's not obvious what chewed and in some cases melted them. Maybe there's a wyrmling in the area? Either way, all that remains alive in the camp is a pair of oxen burdened by their cart. Though, they are quite nonplussed given the violence that must have occurred around them. Surely these simple beasts couldn't be the case of the carnage, could they? As you ponder this, the oxen start plodding away, pulling the cart of goods with them. Trying to stop them was the logical thing to do... their yoke coming undone with twin, yawning mouths not so logical. You know what that means... initiative rolls, please. Relatively benign, for a mimic, the yoke mimic was cultivated by an industrious farmer. They didn't see the point of wasting an animal that came into their care, even a strange monstrosity such as this one. It became a valuable tool not only to get fields plowed, but also kept the animals attached to it d...
