This silvery longsword never tarnishes, nor does it singe no matter the intensity of any flame that bathes it. The weapon of a forgotten knight, the blade’s hilt resembles a phoenix’s spread wings, though blackened by every fire the sword has ever produced. Its hilt is covered in charred leather and ends in a cracked, ruby pommel.

Yet, wickedness grows in mortal marrow,
There is no flame bright enough to keep it forever at bay.
