Lake-boat sailors often share tales of this massive, underwater predator. When deep in their cups, they describe it as a mountain lion but covered in dull, copper scales instead of fur. Thin tendrils take the place of its whiskers, and serrated gills provided a fair imitation of fur-tuffs along its throat. Sailors say that the sleek carnivore will leap from the water and snatch unwary crew right off of the deck. Worse, if one feels especially onrey it'll tear apart smaller vessels with startling ease and shred those aboard into chum.
