Slow and steady, the laxadon is a massive mammal covered in shaggy, brown hair that bears claws that are threateningly large even for its size. Thankfully, the laxadon is a herbivore. It uses its claws to remove a tree's bark and reduce the rest down to easy-to-chew strips. Female laxadons have small tusks coming out of the sides of their mouths. On the other hand, males of species sport bright plumage-like fur down their spines. During mating season they puff out feathers to entice the process. Hunters leave laxadon alone for the most part, their fur is too coarse and meat a bit too fatty. Likewise, predators, humanoid or otherwise, are often overcome with lethargy which puts them on an even level with the clawed beasts.

Inertia Aura.
Creatures that begin their turn within 30ft of the laxadon must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or be hampered the next minute. On success, a creature is immune to a laxadon's inertia aura for 24 hours. An affected target’s speed is halved, it takes a −2 penalty to AC and Dexterity saving throws, and it can’t use reactions. On its turn, it can use either an action or a bonus action, not both. Regardless of the creature’s abilities or magic items, it can’t make more than one melee or ranged attack during its turn.
At the end of each of its turns an affected creature may repeat this save, the effect ending on success.
