Measuring six feet in length when including its wide, flat tail, the giant beaver is normally a docile creature. Like its smaller cousins the beaver prefers to be left alone, but the dams it builds along the resulting lumber depletion often causes problems for downstream communities. This, along with its rich fur, makes the giant beaver a tempting target for unscrupulous hunters. However, poachers then have to figure out how to deal with its bite as dangerous any great sword and its tail as strong as a flail.
